Thursday's Practice Info!

UPDATE!! - We will not be meeting at Woodland Park Middle School.  They are having an open house and it's not available.  Please meet at the Hollandia Park location instead.  We will be meeting at the school grounds next Tuesday, so get ready for some endurance skating! 

Thursday's practice will be in a new location.  We'll be at the Woodland Park Middle School basketball courts where we will be setting up a track and working on timed laps and endurance skating!  The basketball courts are located in the back of the school.   Email us for specific directions, or use this map to help you get there!

If you are a new skater and considering coming to a practice, you will be working on some off-skates drills before you begin on-skates training.  Don't worry, it's fun and a great way to build up the muscles you need for derby!  We have a great coach who will be working with all our new skaters.  For off-skates training, please dress comfortably, bring a towel or exercise mat, water bottle - and yourself!  (At this time there are no fees for our practices.)

Practice will begin at 6:45 pm and run until 8:30 pm.  We may be leaving the school grounds to continue practice at the Hollandia Park location after it gets dark, so don't be late!
